Contribute to TROOPERS19!

Once again it is time for TROOPERS

TROOPERS18 was an extraordinary event (Check out the Archives)! The 11th year of TROOPERS was filled with talks, trainings, our new Next Generation Internet event, and new members becoming part of our TROOPERS family. How could we possibly top it for TROOPERS19?!...but of course we're going to give it a try ;-) And YOU can be part of it!

Your favorite week filled with high-end IT-Security takes place in the beautiful city of Heidelberg/Germany from March 18-22, 2019! Here you’ll find information on how to contribute to TROOPERS19. We’ll also publish further information and resources you’ll need (like presentation templates). Besides the traditional call for papers, we are also interested in training submissions.

Some important information up front

Call for Papers opens on September 18, 2018.

Call for Trainings opens on September 18, 2018.

TROOPERS19 - Call For Papers (TR19-CFP)

As you are probably already used to, TROOPERS19 Main Conference (March 20-21, 2019) will feature three tracks: Track 1: "Attack & Research" on Wednesday and Thursday, Track 2: "Defense & Management" also on Wednesday and Thursday, and Track 3: will feature "SAP Security" on Wednesday and "Active Directory" on Thursday. You can also submit talks for our Next Generation Internet event on March 18-19, 2019. This is a 2 day 2 track event featuring a blend of IoT and IPv6 topics.

This call for papers is for security researchers interested in sharing their work with other researchers and a high-level audience (composed of about 60% people from industry, 20% from academia and another 20% from [research] community). We would like to invite everyone with special knowledge in breaking security in whatever area or practical experience in securing complex information systems to present their skills, tools or experience. There will be one round for the CfP (see below): we will give notices by November 19, 2018. Submit early and submit (new) talks often ;-).

Submissions

We are mainly interested in talks on:

  • Vulnerability research in all flavors
  • Embedded Devices
  • Anything that is related to cars
  • Medical device security
  • Security in a Mobile World
  • Virtualization & Cloud Stuff
  • Industrial Networking
  • Security in Telco Environments
  • Active Directory

Heavy vendor-pitching will not be warmly welcomed and we reserve the right to ask for modifications of confirmed talks if we have the impression there’s too much of that in a talk.
